Anuradha is a Chemistry graduate from the University of Bombay and went on to complete her Masters in Law from the same University. At LLM she specialized in International and Constitutional law and was at the top of her class in the former. Upon completion of her masters she embarked on a teaching career in 1986 with subjects like Constitutional and Administrative law and followed it up with the University’s diploma in Journalism and Communication. Thereafter she also freelanced for leading dailies and newspapers on legal and other subjects and has to her credit over 30 feature articles including fortnightly columns. As early as 1996 she got involved with the subject of Cyber laws and Intellectual Properties and was asked by a well-known, software solutions provider to prepare a manual for web related legal issues. In April 2008 she received a WIPO Fellowship for ‘Advancing Training in Industrial Property’, in Stockholm. In July 2006 Anuradha was awarded a scholarship by the Association of Overseas Technical Studies along with the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation, for a training program for IP trainers, in Tokyo. Anuradha has also co-authored books on varied subjects like Human Rights, Business and Marketing and Export Marketing. She was also registered with the Bar Council of Maharashtra as an advocate and has rendered honorary legal advice from time to time.
